Product Range

2. Our Products

Lunaire Works designs and supplies decorative interior wall panelling products, sold exclusively through our website lunaireworks.com and delivered to UK addresses only. All products are made in the United Kingdom. Our current product range includes:

MDF Shaker Wall Panels

Pre-cut medium-density fibreboard (MDF) slats in 6mm and 9mm thickness, available in individual lengths (50 cm and 100 cm) or as complete multi-panel kits. Designed for shaker-style feature wall installations in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and dining rooms. All panels are unfinished and paintable.

Dado & Picture Rail Kits

Complete wall panelling systems combining horizontal dado rails, picture rails, and vertical slat panels to create a classic panel-and-frame aesthetic. Kits include all required moulding sections — pre-cut and pre-mitred — for straightforward DIY installation. Available in MDF and pine.

Cheshire Moulding Panel Kits

Decorative pine wood moulding kits featuring minimalist horizontal slats with capping mouldings. Pre-cut and pre-mitred for precision fitting with no professional tools required. Each kit is designed to cover a defined wall area and is suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.

Bulk & Trade Packs

High-volume packs (for example, the 90-panel bulk pack) designed for large installations or trade customers covering multiple rooms. These packs include a selection of full-length and half-length panels and may include complimentary adhesive sachets for installation.

Build Your Own / Custom Panels

Individual panels and moulding lengths sold separately, allowing customers to design and specify their own feature wall configurations. Available in various standard lengths and thicknesses so that any panel arrangement or mixed-depth layout can be constructed to the customer's exact requirements.

Important Product Notes

All MDF and pine products are supplied unfinished and unpainted. They are designed to be primed and painted to your chosen colour after installation. Paint, primer, and adhesive are not included in kits unless expressly stated in the product description.

Product images on our website are for illustration purposes and represent the general appearance and style of the product. Because our panels are supplied unpainted, the colour finishes shown in lifestyle photography are examples only. Actual dimensions are specified in the product listing.

MDF is a manufactured wood product and may exhibit minor natural surface variation. These characteristics are inherent to the material and do not constitute a defect. Panel thickness tolerances follow standard industry specifications (±0.5 mm).

We supply to UK addresses only. We do not currently ship outside Great Britain or Northern Ireland.

Pricing Transparency

3. Pricing, VAT & Currency

Prices Include VAT

All prices displayed on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current UK standard rate of 20%, unless the product page explicitly states otherwise. The total amount you pay at checkout includes the product price and any applicable delivery charge, with no hidden fees.

Currency

All transactions are processed in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). If your payment card is denominated in another currency, your card provider or bank will apply their exchange rate. We are not responsible for any foreign exchange fees, conversion charges, or rate fluctuations applied by your bank or card issuer.

Delivery Charges

Delivery is currently offered free of charge on all orders across the United Kingdom, with free tracked shipping included as standard. This is clearly stated at the top of our website and confirmed in your order summary at checkout. Any changes to our delivery pricing policy will be communicated on the website before taking effect.

Pricing Errors

We make every effort to ensure that prices displayed on our website are accurate. In the unlikely event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or system error, we reserve the right to cancel or amend your order before dispatch. We will notify you promptly and provide a full refund if you do not wish to proceed at the corrected price.

Promotional Pricing & Discounts

Promotional prices and discount codes are valid only for the period stated and cannot be applied retrospectively to orders already placed. Where a sale price is shown alongside a regular price, the regular price refers to the price at which the product was previously offered on our website for a substantial continuous period. We comply fully with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 in how we present pricing and discounts.

Ordering Process

4. How to Place an Order

Placing an order on lunaireworks.com is straightforward. The steps below describe the process from browsing to completed order. You must be 18 years of age or older to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and are acting as a consumer (not a business purchasing for resale without our written agreement).

1

Browse & Select

Browse our full product range at lunaireworks.com/collections/all. Select the product that suits your project, choose your preferred panel size or kit configuration using the option selectors, and review the product description including dimensions, coverage area, and material specification carefully before adding to your cart.

2

Add to Cart & Review

Add your chosen product(s) to your shopping cart. Before proceeding to checkout, review the contents of your cart to confirm that the correct products, sizes, and quantities are listed. You may adjust quantities or remove items at this stage.

3

Enter Your Details

At checkout, enter your full name, delivery address (UK addresses only), email address, and contact telephone number. Please ensure that your delivery address is accurate and complete, including your postcode. We will use these details to process and deliver your order. Errors in delivery information are your responsibility.

4

Review Order Summary

Before completing payment, you will be shown a full order summary including the itemised product list, unit prices, applicable VAT breakdown, delivery cost, and the total amount payable. Review this carefully. This is the information provided to you as required by Regulation 9 of the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002.

5

Submit & Pay

Select your preferred payment method and complete payment. By clicking the final order confirmation button (labelled "Place Order" or similar), you are submitting an offer to purchase the products listed. You will receive an automated order acknowledgement email confirming the details of your order. This email constitutes acknowledgement only — it is not yet acceptance of your order (see Section 5 below).

E-Commerce Regulations 2002 — Regulation 11

5. Contract Formation & Order Acceptance

It is important that you understand when a legally binding contract is formed between you and Lunaire Works. Under the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, we are required to be transparent about this process. The following explains precisely how and when your order becomes a binding agreement.

Stage 1 — Your Offer

When you click the "Place Order" or equivalent button at checkout and complete payment, you are making an offer to us to purchase the products at the price shown. No contract exists at this stage.

Stage 2 — Acknowledgement Email

You will promptly receive an automated order acknowledgement email to the email address provided at checkout. This email confirms that we have received your order. It is an acknowledgement only and does not constitute our acceptance of your order or form a contract.

Stage 3 — Dispatch Confirmation

A legally binding contract between you and Lunaire Works is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email confirming that your order has been packed and handed to our courier for delivery. At this point, we have accepted your offer and the contract is complete.

When We May Decline an Order

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at any stage before dispatch under the following circumstances:

The product is out of stock or no longer available at the time of processing your order.

The product was listed at an incorrect price due to a technical or typographical error.

Your payment has not been successfully authorised or has been flagged as suspicious by our payment processor.

The delivery address provided falls outside our delivery area (UK only).

In the event that we decline your order, we will notify you promptly by email and will arrange a full refund of any payment taken within 3 to 5 working days.

Secure Payments

6. Payment Methods & Security

We accept the following payment methods at checkout. All payment processing is handled by regulated, PCI DSS-compliant third-party processors. We never store your full card number, CVV, or bank account credentials on our servers at any point.

Credit & Debit Cards

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Maestro debit and credit cards. Card payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments, powered by Stripe (a PCI DSS Level 1-certified processor regulated by the FCA in the UK).

PayPal

You may pay using your PayPal account or as a guest through PayPal's checkout. PayPal payments are processed directly by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., which is authorised and regulated as a payment institution. See PayPal's Privacy Policy for details.

Apple Pay & Google Pay

Where supported by your device and browser, Apple Pay and Google Pay are available as express checkout options at the product page and cart stage. These are processed via Shopify Payments (Stripe) and use tokenised payment credentials — your actual card number is never shared with us.

Shop Pay

Shop Pay is an accelerated checkout option provided by Shopify that allows returning customers to save their payment and delivery details for faster repeat purchases. Credentials stored in Shop Pay are held by Shopify Inc. and not by Lunaire Works.

Payment Security

All payment pages on our website are served over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Our checkout is hosted on Shopify's SOC 2 Type II-certified infrastructure. We do not send payment requests by email, text message, or social media. If you receive any communication purporting to be from Lunaire Works requesting payment outside of our standard checkout process, please contact us immediately at info@lunaireworks.com or +44 33 0043 9923, as this may be a phishing attempt.

UK Delivery Only

7. Delivery & Shipping Policy

Delivery Area

We deliver to all addresses within the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We do not currently ship to the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, BFPO addresses, or any address outside the United Kingdom. If your address falls outside our coverage area, your order will be declined at checkout.

Delivery Cost

Free tracked delivery is included on all orders at no additional charge, regardless of order value or number of items. The total amount shown at checkout is the complete amount you will pay. There are no hidden delivery surcharges or remote area supplements.

Dispatch Timescale

We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1 to 3 working days of receiving confirmed payment, subject to stock availability. Orders placed on weekends or UK public holidays will be processed on the next working day. You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with a tracking reference once your order leaves our facility.

Estimated Delivery Time

After dispatch, estimated delivery is 2 to 5 working days for standard UK addresses. Deliveries to remote areas of Scotland, Scottish Highlands, and Northern Ireland may take an additional 1 to 2 working days. These are estimates and cannot be guaranteed due to factors outside our control, including courier network delays and adverse weather.

Courier Partners

We use Royal Mail, DPD, and Evri as our courier partners depending on the size and weight of your order. You will receive tracking information via email or SMS from the relevant courier once your parcel is in transit. You can use the tracking reference to monitor your delivery status through the courier's own tracking portal.

Failed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because no one is available to receive the parcel, the courier will leave a notification card and attempt redelivery or hold the parcel at a local depot for collection. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or uncollected parcel, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. An additional delivery charge may apply in such cases.

Damaged or Lost Parcels

If your order arrives damaged, or if your tracked parcel has not been delivered within 10 working days of the dispatch confirmation email, please contact us at info@lunaireworks.com or call us on +44 33 0043 9923. Please retain all original packaging when reporting damaged goods, as we may request photographs for our courier claims process. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

8. Your Right to Cancel

As a consumer purchasing goods online from a UK-registered business, you are protected by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. These regulations give you a statutory right to cancel your order without giving any reason. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (see Section 10).

14-Day Cooling-Off Period

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of the day on which you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods. You do not need to give a reason for cancellation. For orders containing multiple items dispatched in separate deliveries, the 14-day period begins from the day the last item is delivered.

How to Cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly before the 14-day period expires. You may do so by emailing info@lunaireworks.com, calling +44 33 0043 9923 during business hours, or by writing to us at our registered address. Your cancellation notice must clearly identify the order by your name, order number, and the items you wish to cancel.

Returning the Goods

If you have already received the goods when you cancel, you must return them to us without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of notifying us of your cancellation. Goods must be returned in the same condition as received — unused, uncut, and with original packaging where possible. You are responsible for the cost and safe return of the goods unless the goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Refund After Cancellation

Once you have notified us of your cancellation and we have received the returned goods (or received evidence that you have dispatched them, whichever is earlier), we will issue a full refund of the purchase price within 14 calendar days. We will refund using the same payment method you used for the original transaction. We may reduce the refund amount to reflect any diminishment in value of the goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Please note: If you cancel before the goods have been dispatched, we will process the full refund promptly, usually within 3 to 5 working days. Pre-dispatch cancellations can be requested by emailing info@lunaireworks.com as soon as possible after placing your order.

Returns Policy

9. Returns & Refunds

Our returns policy operates alongside and in addition to your statutory rights. You may return products to us under any of the three circumstances described below. All return requests should be initiated by contacting us at info@lunaireworks.com before sending any items back to us.

Return Reason Time Limit Return Shipping Cost Refund
Change of mind (statutory cancellation) 14 days from receipt Paid by customer Full product price refunded within 14 days of return
Faulty, damaged, or defective goods Within 6 years (CRA 2015) Free — paid by Lunaire Works Full refund or free replacement at your choice
Wrong item received (misdescribed or incorrect dispatch) Notify within 14 days of receipt Free — paid by Lunaire Works Full refund or correct replacement at your choice

How to Initiate a Return

1

Email us at info@lunaireworks.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. For damaged or faulty items, please include photographs where possible.

2

We will respond within 2 working days with return instructions. Do not send goods back before you have received our return authorisation — unauthorised returns may be refused or delayed.

3

Pack the items securely to prevent transit damage. Include a note with your name and order number inside the parcel. Ship using a tracked service if you are covering return postage.

4

Once we receive and inspect the returned items, we will process your refund or dispatch your replacement within the timeframes set out above.

Statutory Consumer Rights

10. Your Rights Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA) is the principal piece of UK consumer protection legislation governing the sale of physical goods to consumers. When you purchase products from Lunaire Works, all goods we sell must meet the following statutory standards. Nothing in this Legal Notice limits or excludes your rights under the CRA.

Satisfactory Quality

Goods must be of a standard that a reasonable person would regard as satisfactory, taking into account the price, description, and any other relevant circumstances. Our MDF and pine panels must be free from manufacturing defects, properly cut to the stated dimensions, and suitable for use as interior decorative wall panels when correctly installed.

Fit for Purpose

Goods must be fit for the purpose for which they are ordinarily supplied and for any specific purpose that you made known to us before purchasing. Our panels are designed for dry interior residential use as decorative wall cladding. They are not intended for outdoor use, wet rooms, or structural applications. Using our products outside their intended purpose may affect your statutory rights.

As Described

Goods must match the description given on our website. The panel dimensions, material specification (MDF or pine), thickness, kit contents, and coverage area stated in each product listing form part of the product description. If the goods you receive do not match what was described, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of whether the goods are otherwise of satisfactory quality.

Your Remedies Under the CRA

Short-Term Right to Reject (0–30 days)

Within 30 days of receiving faulty or misdescribed goods, you have an absolute right to reject the goods and receive a full refund. No repair or replacement need be offered first.

Repair or Replacement (30 days – 6 months)

Between 31 days and 6 months from delivery, you are entitled to a repair or replacement first. If the repair or replacement is impossible or fails, you are then entitled to a full or partial refund. It is presumed that any fault present within 6 months of delivery existed at the time of sale.

Right to Claim (6 months – 6 years)

Beyond 6 months and up to 6 years, you may still make a claim if you can demonstrate that the fault was present at the time of delivery. The burden of proof shifts to you during this period. A partial refund or repair may be available.

To make a claim under the CRA, please contact us at info@lunaireworks.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge your claim within 2 working days and work with you to reach a resolution.

UK General Product Safety Regulations 2005

11. Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance

The safety and compliance of our products is of the utmost importance to us. All Lunaire Works products are designed, manufactured, and supplied in accordance with applicable UK product safety regulations.

General Product Safety

All products sold by Lunaire Works comply with the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 (UK GPSR), which implement the obligations on producers and distributors to ensure that only safe products are placed on the market. Our MDF and pine wall panels are assessed to present no unreasonable risk under normal and foreseeable conditions of use as interior decorative wall cladding.

MDF Material Safety

Our MDF panels are manufactured from wood fibre bonded with resins and are produced in compliance with relevant UK and BS EN standards for interior-grade wood-based panels. Customers should avoid prolonged inhalation of MDF dust when cutting panels. We recommend wearing a suitable dust mask and using the cutting in a well-ventilated area. Finished, installed panels present no hazard under normal conditions of use.

Fire Safety Considerations

Our panels are intended for decorative use in domestic interiors. MDF and pine are combustible materials. Our products are not fire-rated for use in commercial, listed, or regulated buildings. If you are undertaking a renovation in a property that requires compliance with specific fire safety regulations, you should consult a qualified professional to determine the suitability of our products.

Product Safety Reporting

If you believe that a product you have purchased from us presents a safety risk, please contact us immediately at info@lunaireworks.com or call +44 33 0043 9923. You may also report product safety concerns to the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) via the GOV.UK product safety reporting service.

Any other matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or restrict liability.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any contract for the purchase of our products shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant order. We are not liable for:

Any indirect, special, or consequential losses arising out of or in connection with your purchase, such as loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, or decoration costs, except where such losses were a foreseeable consequence of our breach of contract or negligence.

Any failure to perform our obligations under a contract to the extent that such failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather, national strikes, pandemic restrictions, courier network failures, or supply chain disruptions (force majeure).

This limitation of liability section is subject to any mandatory rights you hold as a consumer under UK law and does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.
