3. Products & Descriptions
Lunaire Works sells decorative interior wall panelling products, including MDF shaker panel kits, dado rail kits, pine moulding kits, wall panel feature sets, and associated fixings and accessories. All products are described in as much detail as is practically possible, including dimensions, materials, pack contents, and finish options. We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, images, and specifications displayed on the Website are accurate at the time of publication.
Important Product Information
Colour representation: Product colours displayed on screen may vary slightly from the actual item due to differences in monitor settings, screen calibration, and natural material variation. We recommend ordering a sample where available before purchasing large quantities.
Natural material variation: Our MDF and pine products are manufactured from wood-based materials and may exhibit minor natural variation in grain, texture, and density. This is inherent to the material and does not constitute a defect.
Dimensions and tolerances: All dimensions stated are nominal and manufactured within standard industry tolerances. Slight variations of up to ±2mm are considered within specification and do not entitle you to a return or refund.
Installation: Our wall panel products are sold as decorative items for interior use. Installation is the responsibility of the buyer or their appointed tradesperson. We provide guidance materials where available, but we are not liable for outcomes resulting from incorrect installation.
Stock availability: All products are sold subject to availability. In the event that an item you have ordered becomes unavailable after your order is confirmed, we will notify you promptly and offer either a full refund or an alternative product of equivalent value.
If you notice an error or inaccuracy in any product listing, please notify us at info@lunaireworks.com. We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or product descriptions at any time prior to dispatch, and will notify you of any material corrections before processing your order.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on our Website are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable UK rate (currently 20%), unless clearly stated otherwise. Delivery charges are not included in the listed product price and will be shown separately during checkout before you confirm your order.
Secure Checkout
All payments are processed through Shopify's PCI DSS Level 1-certified payment infrastructure. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and Apple Pay.
Payment Timing
Full payment is taken at the time you place your order. We do not operate a credit account or deferred payment scheme. Your order will only be processed after successful payment authorisation.
Pricing Errors
If a pricing error is identified on our Website, we reserve the right to cancel an order placed at an incorrect price, provided we notify you before dispatch. In such cases, we will offer you the option to repurchase at the correct price or receive a full refund.
Card Security
We never store, view, or have access to your full card details. All card data is handled directly by our payment processor. Our Website uses HTTPS/TLS encryption throughout, ensuring your personal and payment data is protected in transit.
VAT receipts are available upon request. If you require a VAT invoice for business purposes, please contact us at info@lunaireworks.com after placing your order. We are registered for VAT in the United Kingdom under VAT Number GB433989551.
5. Order Process & Contract Formation
Placing an item in your shopping basket on our Website does not constitute a binding contract or reservation. A contract between you and Lunaire Works is only formed at the point we send you a dispatch confirmation email confirming that your order has been shipped. Until that point, we reserve the right to decline or cancel any order.
Order Journey — Step by Step
You Place Your Order
You select your products, complete the checkout form, and submit payment. This constitutes an offer to purchase the selected items at the stated price.
Order Acknowledgement
You receive an automated order confirmation email. This is an acknowledgement only — it does not constitute acceptance of your order or form a contract.
Order Processing & Review
We check stock availability, verify payment, and prepare your items for dispatch. If any issue arises — such as a stock discrepancy or a pricing error — we will contact you before proceeding.
Dispatch Confirmation — Contract Formed
When your order is dispatched, we send a shipping confirmation email including tracking information. At this point, a legally binding contract is formed between you and STERZEAL HATS LIMITED.
We reserve the right to decline any order at our absolute discretion, including where we suspect fraud, where payment cannot be verified, or where an order appears to violate these Terms. In such cases, we will refund any payment taken in full within 5 working days.
6. Shipping & Delivery
We currently deliver exclusively within the United Kingdom (including mainland England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland). We do not ship internationally. Delivery charges and estimated timescales are displayed clearly at checkout before you confirm your order. For full details of our delivery options, timescales, and charges, please visit our Shipping Policy.
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 working days of payment confirmation, subject to stock availability and the volume of current orders.
Delivery Timescale
Estimated delivery windows are provided at checkout and in your dispatch email. These are estimates only and may be affected by carrier delays, particularly during peak periods.
Tracking
Where available, you will receive a tracking reference in your dispatch confirmation email. Use this to monitor the progress of your delivery directly with the carrier.
Delivery Address
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. We cannot accept liability for failed or delayed deliveries caused by incorrect address information.
Failed Delivery
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the carrier will leave a notification card with instructions. You are responsible for arranging re-delivery or collection within the carrier's specified timeframe. Uncollected parcels returned to us may incur a re-delivery charge.
Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives visibly damaged, please note this when signing for delivery and contact us within 48 hours at info@lunaireworks.com with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or refund promptly.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, risk in the goods passes to you at the point of delivery. Title (ownership) of the goods passes to you only upon receipt of full and cleared payment. If you have not received your order within the expected timeframe, please contact us at info@lunaireworks.com or call +44 33 0043 9923.
7. Returns & Cancellations
As a UK-based distance seller, we fully comply with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You have clearly defined rights to cancel and return, which are summarised below. Full details are provided in our Refund Policy.
14-Day Cancellation Right
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. This is your statutory right and is independent of any commercial returns policy we may offer.
How to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, contact us within the 14-day window by email at info@lunaireworks.com or by calling +44 33 0043 9923, clearly stating your order number and your intention to cancel. You can also use the standard cancellation form available from the Citizens Advice Bureau, though this is not required.
Returning the Goods
After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the goods to us within 14 calendar days. Items must be returned in their original, unused, and undamaged condition, in their original packaging. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or was incorrectly sent.
Pre-Dispatch Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to stop the shipment. If the order has already been processed for dispatch, it may not be possible to prevent delivery, and the standard return process will apply.
Please note: Items that have been cut, modified, painted, or otherwise altered cannot be returned, as these operations render the product bespoke and non-resaleable. Custom-ordered or made-to-specification products are also exempt from the right of cancellation under Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
8. Refunds
Once we have received and inspected a returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 14 calendar days of receiving the return, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We will send you an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
Cancelled Orders (Within 14 Days)
A full refund of the product price plus the standard delivery charge will be issued. We will not refund the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a free return collection and issue a full refund, including all original delivery charges, within 14 days of confirming the fault.
Partial Returns
If you return only part of an order, only the returned items will be refunded. Original delivery charges are only refunded in full when the entire order is cancelled within the 14-day window.
Deductions for Diminished Value
We may reduce your refund to reflect any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to assess the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product, as permitted under Regulation 34(10) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
For all refund-related enquiries, please contact us at info@lunaireworks.com or call +44 33 0043 9923 during business hours. See our full Refund Policy for complete details.
9. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects or seeks to exclude your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods sold by Lunaire Works must meet the following legally required standards:
Satisfactory Quality
Our products must meet the standard that a reasonable person would regard as acceptable, considering their price, description, and any other relevant circumstances.
Fit for Purpose
Our products must be fit for their general purpose (interior decorative wall panelling) and any particular purpose you communicated to us before purchase.
As Described
Our products must match their description on the Website, including stated dimensions, materials, finish, and pack contents. Any material discrepancy gives you the right to a remedy.
Your Remedies Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
Within 30 days of delivery: You are entitled to a full refund if goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
Between 30 days and 6 months: You are entitled to a repair or replacement in the first instance. If this is not possible or fails, you are entitled to a partial or full refund.
After 6 months: The burden of proof shifts to you to demonstrate that a fault existed at the time of delivery, but your rights remain in place for up to 6 years from the date of purchase under the Limitation Act 1980.

12. Limitation of Liability
What We Do Not Exclude
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Limitations That Apply
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product(s).
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss or damage, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.
We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier delays, supply chain disruptions, extreme weather events, or industrial action.
We are not responsible for losses arising from your own failure to follow product care or installation guidance, your use of our products in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose, or modifications you make to the products.
These limitations do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
13. Warranties & Disclaimers
All Lunaire Works products are sold with the implied terms required by law under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — that they are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Beyond these statutory guarantees, the following disclaimers apply.
Website Availability
We aim to keep our Website available and accessible at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical issues, or third-party failures may temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from Website downtime.

We do not warrant their suitability for external use, high-humidity environments, or wet rooms unless explicitly stated in the individual product listing. It is your responsibility to assess suitability for your specific application.
Building Regulations
Installation of wall panelling products may be subject to local planning or building regulations in certain circumstances. It is your responsibility to ensure that any installation complies with applicable regulations. We recommend consulting a qualified professional if you are unsure of your obligations.
