1. Measure Wall Width
Use a tape measure and note the total width in centimetres. This helps estimate panel quantity, whether you’re using shaker strips, tongue & groove boards, or plain MDF panels.
2. Measure Wall Height
Decide if you want a half-height, three-quarter, or full-height look. This will determine the length of panels you need.
3. Consider Panel Thickness
- 6mm panels → lighter, great for most rooms and easy DIY installations.
- 9mm panels → deeper profile and more pronounced shadows; ideal for a premium finish or higher-traffic spaces.
4. Allow for Extras
Always add a small allowance for trimming, corners, sockets, stair angles or cutting mistakes. If you're unsure, you can share your wall measurements with us and we’ll guide you on quantities and the most suitable thickness.

Create a fuller shaker-style wall layout with this larger ready-cut MDF wall panelling kit.
This kit includes:
15 x 100cm long MDF strips
15 x 50cm short MDF strips
30 panels in total
6mm standard MDF as default
The panels are supplied unfinished, ready for preparation, priming and painting in your chosen finish.
You can also customise the kit with optional upgrades and installation extras where available, including alternative MDF options, adhesive, primer, wood filler, caulk, applicators and decorative rails.
This listing includes the MDF strips in the quantities stated above. Optional accessories and upgrades are only included when selected separately.
How long does delivery take?
Standard orders are normally dispatched within 1 working day. Orders placed before 2:00 noon UK time,
Monday to Friday excluding UK bank holidays, are usually dispatched the same working day. Orders placed
after 2:00 noon, at weekends or on UK bank holidays are usually dispatched the next working day. Delivery
after dispatch usually takes 1-2 working days, although courier delays can occur.
Which couriers do you use?
We use tracked UK courier services selected according to parcel size, weight and destination. A tracking link
is emailed when your order is dispatched.
Is delivery free?
Yes — Free UK delivery on all orders with no minimum spend.
Do you offer weekend delivery?
Some couriers may deliver on Saturdays, but it is not guaranteed. If you need a special arrangement, please contact us.
Can I track my order?
Yes. A tracking link is sent to your email as soon as your order is dispatched.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.
1. Prepare the Wall
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust.
- Mark your layout lightly with pencil or masking tape.
2. Measure & Cut (If Needed)
- Use a saw (hand saw, mitre saw or circular saw).
- Sand any rough edges for a smooth finish.
3. Apply Adhesive
- Use a strong grab adhesive.
- Apply beads of adhesive to the back of the panel.
4. Position the Panel
- Press the panel firmly onto the wall.
- Check it’s straight using a level.
5. Secure (Optional)
- For extra hold, you may add nails or screws.
- Fill any holes if you plan to paint.
6. Fill the Gaps
- Use filler or caulk between joins.
- Lightly sand once dry for a seamless look.
7. Prime & Paint
- Apply MDF primer or two coats of good emulsion.
- Paint in any colour you like for a smooth finish.
Tips for Best Results
- Start from one corner and work your way across.
- Use spacers if you want consistent gaps.
- For bathrooms or utility rooms, use moisture-resistant MDF and seal all edges.

How do ordering, delivery and returns work?
We dispatch orders within 1 working day, and most UK deliveries arrive within 24–48 hours.
Standard items can be returned within 30 days; custom sizes are non-returnable unless faulty. You’ll receive a tracking link once your order has shipped. We currently ship UK-only.
What sizing options do you offer?
We produce 6mm and 9mm MDF as standard and offer custom heights, widths and thicknesses for made-to-measure projects, including staircases and awkward spaces. There’s no minimum order, and samples are available.
What material do you use, and is it safe?
We use high-density MDF from FSC-certified suppliers, suitable for interior use. Our material partners comply with CARB / EPA TSCA Title VI low-formaldehyde standards.
Do you offer custom or trade orders?
Yes — we manufacture everything in-house and can make bespoke sizes, layouts and thicknesses. Trade and bulk orders receive discounted pricing; just contact us with your project details.
Can the panels be cut to fit sockets, radiators or corners?
Yes. MDF cuts cleanly using a hand saw, jigsaw or mitre saw. Mark the area carefully, cut slowly and test-fit before installing. Many customers neatly trim around sockets, radiators and skirting boards with no issues. Light sanding helps refine edges before painting.
Do I need adhesive, nails or both?
Strong grab adhesive alone is enough for most walls. For uneven or older walls, you can add a few brad nails or screws for extra hold. We recommend our Rapide Grab Adhesive, which bonds quickly and minimises slipping during installation.
Will wall panelling damage my walls?
No — panels can be removed with minimal damage. Adhesive residue can be sanded or filled before repainting. If nails or screws were used, simply fill the holes. Most customers find wall prep straightforward if the panels are ever removed.
Are your panels suitable for renters? Yes, many renters install panelling using removable adhesive strips for lightweight sections, or adhesive that can be peeled off cleanly. For full-wall installations, panels can be removed later and the wall patched with filler, which is generally acceptable for most landlords.
Do your panels come pre-primed or painted?
No. Unless a product page specifically says otherwise, our MDF panels are supplied unfinished and
unprimed, ready for you to prepare, prime and paint after installation.
